Machine Characteristics
The XT series is a type of machine tool specially designed for heavy cutting of disc-shaped and short shaft parts. It features an integral bed with a widened, reinforced and low center of gravity design to reduce vibrations during heavy cutting. The 45° inclined saddle layout in the X direction effectively resists forces in both horizontal and vertical directions, eliminates backlash in the lead screw, and ensures better geometric symmetry of the cutting tool during processing, reducing lateral loads on the tool. This results in longer tool life and improved processing accuracy.
By applying finite element analysis (FEM), the shape and position of the reinforcing ribs in the castings are optimized to achieve the best bed strength, making the bed structure more suitable for heavy cutting and extending the tool's service life.
